Summary of Terms: These Terms of Service govern your access to the content produced by Chronicle Lens and the operation of the internal publication software Chronicle Lens Uploader. By viewing our content or accessing our services, you agree to comply with these terms as well as the terms of the third-party platforms on which our content is delivered (YouTube, TikTok, and Meta/Instagram).

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Chronicle Lens / Erdevir Labs ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms apply to:

Videos, audio, scripts, graphics, and materials distributed through our official channels under the Chronicle Lens brand.
The automated deployment and upload tool named Chronicle Lens Uploader (Google Cloud Project ID: chronicle-lens-uploader).

2. Purpose and Permitted Use of Software

Chronicle Lens Uploader is an internal content management and publication software designed exclusively for the Chronicle Lens production team. It automates scheduled rendering and uploading of original video episodes to our designated channels.

The software is not a public service or consumer application. Any unauthorized attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, extract credentials from, or abuse the software or its associated API quotas is strictly prohibited.

3. Third-Party Platform Terms & Compliance

Our content is delivered primarily via YouTube, as well as TikTok and Instagram. By accessing our videos through these platforms, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by their respective terms of service:

Chronicle Lens Uploader adheres strictly to all developer terms, API usage quotas, rate limits, and community standards established by Google LLC, ByteDance Ltd., and Meta Platforms, Inc.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Chronicle Lens brand, logo, animations, motion design templates, original script writing, and video compilations are owned exclusively by Soner Erdevir (Erdevir Labs).

Permitted Use:

You may share links, embed public YouTube Shorts, and engage through standard platform features (liking, commenting, sharing).

Prohibited Actions:

You may not re-upload, broadcast, mirror, sell, license, or commercially redistribute Chronicle Lens video or audio files in whole or in part without prior written permission.
You may not remove watermarks, copyright notices, or attribution links from our media.

5. AI Narration & Content Factuality Disclaimer

Chronicle Lens creates educational and informational short-form videos. In accordance with platform guidelines:

Synthetic Narration: Voice narration in our videos is synthesized using artificial intelligence / text-to-speech technology.
Research & Fact-Checking: Every script is researched using reputable historical sources, academic literature, and confirmed news outlets. However, videos are produced for general educational, historical, and entertainment purposes.
No Professional Advice: Content should not be construed as legal, medical, or financial advice.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Chronicle Lens content, websites, and publishing tools are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, completely accurate, or free from harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Chronicle Lens, Erdevir Labs, or Soner Erdevir be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your access to or inability to access our content or tools, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
